Terms & Refund Policy
These terms cover your use of hfc.global, your HFC Nation membership and anything you buy from THE DROP, our merchandise shop. They are between you and Humanoid Fighting Championship (HFC, we, us), ABN 83 700 626 259, Melbourne, Australia. Event tickets are sold by the venue’s authorised ticketing partner under their own terms, which section 6 explains.
1. Using the site
You can browse hfc.global freely. Everything on it, including the HFC name, the machine names, artwork, footage and text, belongs to HFC or its partners. You are welcome to share links and screenshots for personal, non-commercial purposes. Please do not scrape the site, copy the machine artwork for commercial use, or attempt to interfere with the site or its forms.
Event dates, venues, machines and fight cards on the site are our current plans. Anything marked as an intention, a month, or “to be announced” is not a commitment until it is confirmed with an on-sale.
2. HFC Nation membership
There are four tiers, one of which (ULTRA) is sold out and not available for purchase. What each includes is listed on the membership page, and that page is part of these terms.
| Tier | Price | Billing |
|---|---|---|
| NATION | Free | Never billed |
| ROBO PRO | A$79 per year | Billed yearly by Stripe until you cancel. The A$79 founding rate is held for as long as your membership stays active |
| FOUNDER | A$250 once | One payment. Limited to 500 memberships, numbered 001–500. Includes ROBO PRO benefits for life |
| ULTRA | A$2,450 once | Sold out. Limited to 50 memberships. Not available for purchase; includes FOUNDER and ROBO PRO benefits for life |
All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. Memberships are personal and cannot be transferred or resold. Member numbers are issued automatically and are not changed by hand. If a FOUNDER membership is refunded, its number is released and issued to the next FOUNDER buyer. If a FOUNDER payment is completed after all 500 numbers have been issued, no number is issued and the payment is refunded in full.
How the ticket benefits work. Early access means you receive a presale link or code before the public on-sale for that event. Half-price tickets (FOUNDER) means a code that takes 50% off the face value of up to two standard tickets per event, for the next ten HFC events held after your FOUNDER membership starts, redeemed through the ticketing partner. “A ticket held for you” (ROBO PRO and FOUNDER) means an allocation is reserved for members during the presale window; it is not a free ticket and it is released to the public if not purchased before the window closes. Benefits at each event depend on that venue and ticketing partner and may differ in format from city to city.
3. Cancelling ROBO PRO
You can cancel at any time from the link in your Stripe receipt email, or by writing to members@hfc.global. Cancelling stops the next yearly charge. Your benefits continue until the end of the period you have already paid for. If you rejoin later, the price then in force applies.
4. Refund policy
4.1 ROBO PRO. Full refund if you ask within 14 days of a payment, provided you have not yet used a member presale code or claimed a member-only item in that period. After 14 days the year is non-refundable; cancel to stop the next charge.
4.2 FOUNDER. Full refund if you ask within 14 days of payment, provided THE FIRST shirt has not yet shipped and you have not used a Founder presale or discount code. Once refunded, your Founder number is released and cannot be reclaimed. After 14 days, or once benefits have been used, the purchase is non-refundable.
4.3 Your consumer rights. Nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including the guarantees that services will be provided with due care and skill and that goods, such as the shirt, will be of acceptable quality. If something we supplied has a major problem, you are entitled to a refund or replacement regardless of the windows above.
How to ask. Email members@hfc.global from the address on your membership with your member number. Refunds go back to the original payment method within 10 business days.
5. Merchandise (THE DROP)
5.1 Orders. Merchandise at hfc.global/shop is sold by HFC and paid for through our secure Shopify checkout. Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST; the shipping charge for your country is shown before you pay. Your order is confirmed by email with an order reference. Items are made to order, so the dispatch window shown at checkout applies before the delivery estimate.
5.2 Shipping. We ship to the countries offered at checkout. Each item is printed to order by our production partner (Gelato) and shipped from the facility nearest your delivery address. Delivery estimates are estimates from the carrier. Orders that cross a border may attract import duties or taxes in the destination country, which are payable by you. Check the address you enter: parcels sent to an address you gave incorrectly are not our responsibility, though we will help you chase them.
5.3 Changing or cancelling an order. Because items are printed for your order, you can change a size or cancel for a full refund within 24 hours of ordering by replying to your confirmation email. After that the order is in production and the returns policy below applies.
5.4 Returns and exchanges. Change of mind: unworn, unwashed items with tags attached can be returned within 30 days of delivery for an exchange or a refund of the item price. Return postage is at your cost. Faulty, damaged or incorrect items: we replace or refund them in full, including postage, consistent with the Australian Consumer Law guarantees in 4.3. Email orders@hfc.global with your order reference before sending anything back so we can issue return instructions. Refunds go to the original payment method within 10 business days of the item reaching us.
5.5 THE FIRST. The numbered Founder shirt is not sold. It is part of the FOUNDER membership and is covered by section 4.2.
6. Event tickets
Tickets for HFC events are sold by the host venue’s authorised ticketing partner, not by HFC directly. Purchase, delivery, refunds for cancelled or rescheduled events, and entry conditions are governed by that partner’s and the venue’s terms, which are shown at checkout. In Australia these follow the Live Performance Australia Ticketing Code of Practice. HFC member codes are applied at that checkout and are subject to those terms.
Members are responsible for using their own codes; codes that are shared publicly may be cancelled.
7. At the event
HFC bouts involve real machines and real impacts inside an engineered enclosure. Entry is subject to the venue’s conditions of entry and the directions of HFC and venue staff. All ages are welcome; children must be accompanied by an adult. Filming short clips for personal social media is encouraged. Commercial recording and broadcasting require written permission.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, HFC’s liability to you in connection with the site, a membership or a merchandise order is limited to the amount you paid for that membership or order. We are not liable for the acts of the ticketing partner or the venue, or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. General
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version, and members will be told by email of any change that affects a paid tier. Questions: info@hfc.global.
