Each machine is piloted live by a trained human operator. Think drone racing, but the drone is a full-size humanoid with AI-assisted balance and reflexes. The skill of the pilot is part of the sport.
Yes. Armour panels crack, servos fail, machines go down. Corner teams repair between rounds. Damage and downtime feed the judges’ scoring. It’s why there is never a second first.
Every bout is staged inside a purpose-engineered octagonal enclosure with full-height impact shielding, built specifically for humanoid combat and run under a comprehensive safety plan developed with the host venue.
All ages. Doors 6:00 PM, first bout 7:30 PM in Melbourne. A full arena show, not a lab demo.

Humanoid robots crossed the line from laboratory to athlete in the space of a single year. HFC exists because the moment that happened, this sport became inevitable, and somebody had to build it properly, from the first bell.

8 named machines enter. Quarterfinals, semifinals, final. Lose once and you are out.
Each machine is driven live by a trained operator with AI-assisted balance and reflexes. The result is never written in advance.
Bouts run 3 rounds. A machine that cannot continue, or is put down and fails to recover, loses.
